Grocery Delivery in Grand Cayman: Stores, Fees & What's Actually Cheapest (2026)

Who delivers, what it costs, and why the cheapest store on the shelf isn't always the cheapest once it reaches your door.

The short version

Almost every major grocery store in Grand Cayman now offers online ordering with home delivery or free in-store pickup. Foster's, Hurley's, Kirk Market, Priced Right, and Shopright all deliver island-wide, from West Bay to East End and North Side, and Shopright delivers free on orders over CI$50. Cost-U-Less takes online orders for pickup only. A delivery-only service even ships to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

The part worth paying attention to: delivery and "picking" fees vary enough between stores that they can flip which one is cheaper overall. A store with slightly higher shelf prices but a low delivery fee often beats a cheaper store with a high delivery fee, especially on smaller orders. We track per-item grocery prices weekly, so this guide pairs the delivery logistics with the costs that actually decide your total.

Live Our tracked branded basket is currently CI$72.50 at Foster's vs CI$79.60 at Hurley's, with Foster's cheaper by about 8.9%. Updated continuously from our grocery price tracker.

How delivery fees can outweigh price savings

Daily.ky tracks a fixed basket of identical branded groceries at Foster's and Hurley's every day (you can see the current numbers on the Cost of Living page). The per-item gap between the two stores is usually small, a few percent on a typical basket. Delivery fees are not small, and they differ a lot by store and district. That means the delivery fee frequently outweighs the shelf-price difference.

An illustrative example: say your weekly shop is around CI$150 and one store is 3% cheaper per item, which is roughly CI$4.50 saved at the shelf. Now add delivery. If the cheaper store charges, say, CI$25 to your district plus a CI$10 picking fee (CI$35 all-in) while the other store delivers to the same district for a flat CI$12.95, the "more expensive" store's delivered total comes out well ahead, because the small shelf saving is swallowed by the larger delivery-plus-picking charge. Plug in the actual fees for your district and the picture can flip either way.

So compare the all-in delivered total at checkout, not the price tag, and watch for a separate picking or service fee that some stores add on top of the delivery charge. For a big monthly stock-up the per-item savings can dominate; for a normal weekly order the delivery and picking fees usually do. Check this week's per-item gap on our grocery price comparison, then add each store's current delivery (and picking) fee from the table below to see which actually wins for your order size and district.

Store-by-store: who delivers and how

Foster's

The island's largest supermarket chain, with locations at Camana Bay, Airport Centre (George Town), Republix (West Bay), Countryside (Savannah), and Morritt's Express (East End). Online ordering runs through shop.fosters.ky or the Freshop app. Home delivery goes island-wide from the Camana Bay store, and curbside pickup is available there too. Foster's is the deepest catalog for everyday branded groceries and the most common default for residents.

Hurley's Marketplace

Based at The Shoppes at Grand Harbour in Red Bay, Hurley's is well known for fresh produce and its deli. Order through hurleys.ky or the Hurley's app, with delivery Monday through Saturday and a district-based fee (lowest in town, higher for the eastern districts). Two things make Hurley's stand out: you can schedule a delivery in advance (useful when Saturday slots fill up), and a Grocery Concierge service will unpack and organise your pantry on delivery, which is built for stocking a vacation rental before guests arrive. Free click-and-collect pickup is also available.

Kirk Market

At 413 Eastern Avenue in George Town, Kirk Market is the go-to for international, gourmet, organic, gluten-free, and special-dietary products you won't reliably find elsewhere. It offers online ordering with both delivery and click-and-collect. If your shop is built around specialty or imported items rather than mainstream brands, Kirk is often the only store that carries them.

Priced Right

A value/warehouse banner in the Foster's family, Priced Right delivers to every district in Grand Cayman and uses the same online ordering and fee structure as Foster's (zone-based delivery plus a picking fee; confirm your zone's rate at checkout). Curbside pickup is available at its Airport Centre location. It's best for larger-quantity and value buys where the per-unit price beats the standard supermarkets.

Cost-U-Less

The island's bulk-buy warehouse store. It accepts online orders, but for pickup only, with no home delivery. Worth it for bulk staples and large-format items; just plan to collect them yourself.

Shopright

A newer online retailer with a deep e-commerce catalog of 60,000+ products across groceries, fresh produce, meat and seafood, international foods, household goods, and a separate liquor catalog, plus physical locations on Grand Cayman. Order at shopright.ky for delivery or pickup. Its terms are the standout here: free island-wide delivery on orders over CI$50 (CI$10 below that), and same-day delivery on orders placed before 12:00 PM. For any order over CI$50, Shopright's free delivery often makes it the cheapest delivered option on the island.

Delivery-only and provisioning services

Beyond the supermarkets, dedicated online services and villa-provisioning companies (used by vacation rentals and condos) will assemble and deliver a grocery order, and some ship to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman via the cargo service. These typically carry a flat cargo fee for Sister Islands delivery on larger orders. If you're arriving at a rental, ask your property manager which provisioning service they work with; many will stock the fridge before you land.

Current delivery rates (as of 2026)

Delivery fees change rarely but they do change, so always confirm the current rate at checkout. As of 2 August 2026:

  • Hurley's: by district. CI$12.95 for George Town, Savannah, and South Sound; CI$18.95 for West Bay Road; CI$24.95 for West Bay beyond Camana Bay and for Bodden Town, East End, and North Side (Rum Point). Delivery Monday to Saturday. (From Hurley's published delivery page.)
  • Foster's and Priced Right: zone-based delivery (roughly CI$20 to CI$30 depending on district) plus a picking fee. Exact rate shown at checkout for your address.
  • Shopright: free island-wide over CI$50, otherwise CI$10. Same-day delivery if ordered before 12:00 PM.
  • Cost-U-Less: no delivery; online order for in-store pickup only.

For any order over CI$50, Shopright's free island-wide delivery is the value pick, since it beats a paid fee anywhere on the island. For a small order under CI$50 in town, Hurley's CI$12.95 flat fee is hard to beat. For the eastern districts, compare Shopright (free over CI$50) and Hurley's; and for a bulk run, a Foster's or Priced Right order large enough that the per-item savings cover the higher delivery and picking charges.

The free option: pickup and click-and-collect

Every store that offers delivery also offers free in-store pickup (click-and-collect or curbside). You order online, the store picks and bags your shop, and you collect it without paying a delivery fee, and at Foster's and Priced Right, without the picking fee either. If you're driving past the store anyway, pickup is the cheapest way to use online ordering: you skip both the aisles and the fees. It's the best-value choice for price-sensitive shoppers who still want the time savings of ordering online.

  • Cheapest delivery on any order over CI$50: Shopright (free island-wide delivery, same-day before noon).

Free in-store pickup (click-and-collect) at any store is cheaper still: it avoids the delivery fee, and at Foster's and Priced Right the picking fee too. Many villa-provisioning services will also stock the property before you land. Order ahead so the fridge is full when you arrive; ask your property manager which service they use.

Can you get groceries delivered to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman?

Yes, through delivery-only online grocery services that ship to the Sister Islands via the cargo service, typically for a flat cargo fee on larger orders. The main Grand Cayman supermarkets focus their home delivery on Grand Cayman itself, so Brac and Little Cayman residents usually rely on these cargo-based services.

Methodology and sources

Per-item grocery price comparisons come from Daily.ky's grocery price index, which tracks a fixed basket of identical branded products at Foster's and Hurley's daily via each store's online catalog; see the live numbers on the Cost of Living page. Store delivery details, fees, and service areas are drawn from each retailer's own ordering site (shop.fosters.ky, hurleys.ky, and others) and Cayman shopping references including Cayman Resident, as of 2 August 2026. Delivery fees are set by the stores and change occasionally, so always confirm the current rate at checkout. Full methodology and corrections policy: /about. Last updated: 2 August 2026.
