News headlines, article content, and media displayed on Daily.ky are the property of their respective publishers (Cayman Compass, Cayman News Service, Cayman Marl Road, Cayman Independent, Government of the Cayman Islands, RCIPS). Daily.ky aggregates and links to this content under fair use principles and does not claim ownership of third-party content.

4. Data Accuracy and Disclaimers

4.1 Grocery Price Index

Grocery prices are collected automatically from the public online stores of Foster's and Hurley's supermarkets. Prices reflect online store listings and may differ from in-store shelf prices. Daily.ky does not guarantee that displayed prices are current at the time of your visit.

4.2 Rental Price Index

Rental medians are derived from publicly available listing data and represent estimates based on available listings. Actual rents vary by unit condition, furnishing, lease length, and timing. The index is not a substitute for professional real estate advice.

4.3 Salary Calculator

The salary and rent affordability calculator provides estimates only. It models pension as the sole mandatory deduction (5% of gross salary). Health insurance, school fees, vehicle costs, and other expenses vary significantly. The calculator is not financial advice.

4.4 Taxi Fare Calculator

Taxi fares are estimates based on the official regulated rates published under SL 29 of 2019. Actual fares may vary based on the route taken by the driver. The calculator is a guide only.

4.5 News Content

Daily.ky aggregates headlines and links to articles from third-party news sources. We do not author, edit, or verify the accuracy of third-party news content.

4.6 Cruise Ship Traffic

Cruise ship schedules are sourced from the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands. Schedules are subject to change due to weather, mechanical issues, or operational decisions by cruise lines.

4.7 Weather and Hurricane Tracking

Weather data is sourced from the Cayman Islands National Weather Service and NOAA. For life-safety decisions during severe weather, always rely on official government advisories.

4.8 Rental Car Prices

Rental car prices are collected through automated monitoring of rental company websites. Prices reflect publicly available online rates and may not include all fees, taxes, or insurance. Daily.ky does not guarantee availability or pricing.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
